Terms and Conditions
This document serves as a binding agreement between the property owner (hereby identified as “Client”) and Window Cleaning Wizards, LLC (hereby identified as “Company”) for the execution of residential exterior cleaning services.
1. Scope of Service & Authorizations
The Client authorizes the Company to access the property to perform the services detailed in the estimate.

Timeline: Services will be completed within the estimated timeframe. However, the Company reserves the right to reschedule due to inclement weather, equipment failure, or unsafe conditions.

Water Usage: The Client agrees to provide the Company with an on-site water supply via an accessible outdoor spigot.

Well Water Notice: If the property is on a well or has low water pressure (under 4 gallons per minute), the Client must notify the Company prior to arrival. The Client agrees to cease all internal water usage (showers, washing machines, dishwashers) while the Company is on-site to prevent pump damage or pressure loss.
2. Client Responsibilities (Preparation)
To ensure a safe, efficient, and effective cleaning, the Client agrees to complete the following prior to the Company's arrival:

Secure the Home: Close and lock all windows and doors. Ensure seals are tight.

Electrical: Turn off power to exterior outlets and remove sensitive electronics (TVs, speakers) from cleaning areas.

Clear the Area: Remove vehicles and delicate items from the work zone.

Pet Safety & Waste: Keep pets and children inside. The yard must be clear of pet waste. The Company reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee or reschedule if equipment is contaminated by pet waste.

Access: Unlock gates to backyard areas.
3. Limitations and Exclusions

House Wash vs. Window Cleaning: Unless explicitly itemized in the estimate, a "House Wash" is an exterior siding cleaning service, not a window cleaning service. While we rinse windows thoroughly, a House Wash may leave water spots or a film on the glass. Perfectly clear glass requires a separate Window Cleaning service.

Oxidation: Vinyl siding that has been exposed to UV rays often oxidizes (chalky white powder). Removing mold and dirt may reveal this uneven oxidation. This is a permanent condition of the siding, not a defect caused by cleaning.

Stains: The Company strives for 100% satisfaction but cannot guarantee the complete removal of all stains, specifically artillery fungus, deep-set rust, oil, or inorganic stains, without additional specialized treatments.

Water Intrusion: The Company is not responsible for water intrusion caused by defective door seals, open windows, or cracks in the foundation/siding.
4. Plant and Property Protection
The Company prioritizes the protection of your landscaping. We utilize a thorough pre-wetting and post-rinsing process to dilute detergents around plants.

Client Duty: The Client allows the Company to use water to rinse vegetation. The Client is responsible for moving delicate potted plants or flowers away from the splash zone.

Liability: The Company is not responsible for damage to plants that were previously unhealthy, drought-stricken, or highly sensitive to water stress.
5. Payments and Fees

Payment Terms: Payment is due in full upon completion of the work.

Late Fees: Invoices remaining unpaid after 7 days are subject to a late fee of 5% of the total invoice or $25.00, whichever is greater, compounded weekly.

Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are subject to a $50.00 cancellation fee.

Returned Checks: A $50.00 fee applies to any returned checks.
6. Media, Recording, and Marketing

Marketing Release: The Client grants the Company permission to use photos and videos of the property for marketing purposes (social media, website, flyers). The Company guarantees that no sensitive data (house numbers, license plates, or names) will be visible. If the Client wishes to opt-out, they must notify the Company in writing prior to service.

Operational Recording: For purposes of safety, training, and quality assurance, the Client acknowledges that Company technicians may utilize video and audio recording devices (including but not limited to body cameras and dash cameras) while on the property. This right to record is strictly limited to the exterior of the property. The Company agrees not to record audio or video within the interior of the home or building without the Client's explicit verbal or written consent.
7. Damages and Dispute Resolution
Window Cleaning Wizards, LLC is liable only for structural damages directly resulting from operator error, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

Reporting Window: Damages must be reported in writing within three (3) calendar days of service completion.

Right to Inspect: The Company shall have 30 days to inspect the reported damage and has the sole option to repair or contract the repair.

Exclusions: The Company is not liable for loose siding, peeling paint, rotted wood, or existing defects blown loose by washing.

Jurisdiction: This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
8. Acceptance
By accepting the estimate and allowing the Company to commence work, the Client agrees that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms of Service.
